Down Syndrome Association of Greater Winston-Salem's 2025 Buddy Walk | Robinson & Lawing

Robinson & Lawing Joins the 2025 Buddy Walk to Support Inclusion and Awareness

Robinson & Lawing, LLP is proud to continue its support of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Winston-Salem (DSAGWS) and its annual Buddy Walk & Family Fun Day, to be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at West Forsyth High School.

The Buddy Walk, created by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995, celebrates Down Syndrome Awareness Month each October while raising awareness and funds to support individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Locally, the event has become one of DSAGWS’s most important fundraisers—and one of the most joyful days on the calendar.

This year, Robinson & Lawing has registered a team to participate in the walk. Partner Bruce Scott shared why the event continues to matter to the firm:

“Over the years, Robinson & Lawing has sponsored or participated in the Buddy Walk to support the mission of DSAGWS. It’s a day that combines advocacy, awareness, and fun—and it reminds us that our community is stronger when everyone is included.”

The Buddy Walk and Family Fun Day features food, entertainment, a talent show, music, face painting, balloon animals, fairy hair, and much more. Families, friends, and colleagues come together to celebrate inclusion while raising vital funds to support DSAGWS programs.

We invite you to walk alongside the Robinson & Lawing team or contribute in support of this important cause. To register, visit the Buddy Walk page, choose “Registering on an existing Team,” and search for Robinson & Lawing. Together, we can take meaningful steps toward greater awareness and inclusion.
