Eleasa Allen Becomes Treasurer of the Workers’ Compensation Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association

On July 1, 2016, Eleasa Allen began serving a one-year term as Treasurer of the Workers’ Compensation Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association.

Eleasa Harris Allen is a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law.  She has extensive experience in workers’ compensation and employment law. Known for her strategic approach and dedication to her clients, Eleasa represents self-insured employers and insurance carriers in complex cases. She serves as a certified mediator and Medicare Set-Aside Certified Consultant (MSCC), further broadening the scope of services she offers her clients. She has been a partner at Robinson & Lawing since 2014.

Eleasa graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002 with a degree in Communication Studies. She earned her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2005, where she served as Symposium Editor for the Wake Forest Law Review and as a member of the Moot Court Board.

Recognized for her professional excellence by her peers, Eleasa is an AV Preeminent Peer Rated Lawyer at Martindale-Hubbell, is selected to Best Lawyers in America’s Workers’ Compensation – Employers, and was selected to North Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Stars in 2018-2019. She is an member of professional organizations, including the North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.

Eleasa is a sought-after speaker and educator, regularly presenting on workers’ compensation, employment law, and mediation. Her leadership roles include serving as Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section from 2020-2021 and participation in the NCBA’s Mediation Section.
