Linda L. Helms practices in the litigation group, with a focus on professional liability defense, healthcare litigation, and complex civil matters. She has significant trial experience defending healthcare providers and other professionals in high-stakes litigation, including medical malpractice and wrongful death claims.
Linda has represented physicians, medical practices, and healthcare professionals in matters involving complex medical issues, expert testimony, and substantial claimed damages. Her experience includes serving as lead and co-lead trial counsel in cases resulting in defense verdicts for healthcare providers.
In 2026, Linda was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Founded in 1950, the College is widely recognized as the preeminent organization of trial lawyers in North America, composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Fellowship is extended by invitation only, following a rigorous investigation process, to experienced trial lawyers who have demonstrated the highest standards of trial advocacy, ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality. Candidates must have at least fifteen years of trial experience before consideration for Fellowship.
